Less than three months after giving birth to a beautiful daughter, total legend and tennis great Serena Williams has tied the knot with her beau, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian.
But more impressive even than their swish ceremony in New Orleans was the absolute who’s-who of a guest list they managed to wrangle, thanks to Serena apparently being best mates with half of the entire entertainment industry.
Reportedly in attendance were, among others, Kim Kardashian, Anna Wintour, Eva Longoria, Ciara, Jay Z and fucking Beyoncé. Beyoncé went to Serena’s wedding! Of course she fucking did!
Sister Venus was obviously there as well, along with a bunch of other tennis greats. Williams and Ohanian, who have been engaged since December last year, got themselves hitched in what was reportedly a lavish, ‘Beauty & The Beast‘-themed daytime affair at the Contemporary Art Museum.
Serena has signed an exclusive contract with Vogue for the wedding photos, which would explain why Anna Wintour was there – and why guests were reportedly banned from bringing their phones to the party.
So don’t expect to see any sneak peeks on Kim K’s Instagram, unfortch. We’ll just have to use our imaginations, ‘cos even the paparazzi seemed thoroughly thrwarted.
