Aimed at casual design enthusiasts and working creatives alike, Semi-Permanent is a design based event and forum which will leave an impression far more lasting than their name might suggest…

Eleven of the twelve home-grown and international speakers have now been announced for the 2009 Semi-Permanent Conference with Ben Nott of Advertising Agency Droga 5 recently added to the already stellar lineup which includes Danny Yount (USA), Kate Gibb (UK), Ian Francis (UK), Wired Magazine (USA), Ron English (USA), XYZ Studios (AUST), Digital Domain (USA), Tamara and Dean (AUST), Timba Smits (AUST) and Kris Moyes (AUST).

Now only 6 weeks away and heading into its 7th year, Semi-Permanent has become the biggest event of its type in Australia, and a leader internationally. The flagship Sydney event will take place April 3 and 4 2009 and will road show to Brisbane the following week.

Conference tickets for the past 5 years have been snapped up in a matter of days. Simply because the week-long celebration of all things design, brings together exceptionally talented artists and designers from around the world to speak at the conference. Mediums such as Graphic Design, Film, Art, Illustration, Web Design, Photography, Visual Effects, Animation, Graffiti, Motion Graphics, Stop Motion are all represented so there is something for everybody. 2009 events will be held in Sydney (April 3 & 4), Brisbane (April 8) and Perth (date TBC).
