Police Are Searching For A Man After Fatal Shooting In Sydney’s North-West

NSW Police have confirmed they are searching for a man after two teenagers were shot dead in a suspected domestic violence-related incident at a house in Sydney’s north-west. 

A woman in her 30s, who lives at the home and is understood to be the teenagers’ mother, is being treated for severe shock.

She is being supported by friends.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden told the media on Thursday night that the mother had arrived at the house shortly after the police.

“There are a number of witnesses that may be able to assist us and we are working with them closely this evening,” McFadden said.

Police officers were called to a house on Hull Road, off the Cumberland Highway in West Pennant Hills at around 5:20pm on Thursday evening after receiving reports of gunshots. A crime scene has been established and an investigation ongoing.

The State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad are operating the search.

NSW Police issued a statement confirming the deaths of the two “young teenagers”, one girl and one boy.

Early investigations suggest this may be a domestic violence-related matter.

A person of interest has been identified and police [are] working to find that person.

Police have not released details of the man but they believe him to be a “clear focus of the investigation”.
