Here’s the one a lot of you folks have been waiting for. It’s time to see what PlayStation have up their sleeve for this year’s E3 and folks, there’s a lot to take in.
Fair warning – there isn’t a heap of new titles, but we did get a nice insight into the big games we already know about. Here’s what the company showed.
The Last of Us Part II
Announced back in December 2016, PlayStation showed off some actual gameplay footage of the highly anticipated game, as well as a new cinematic trailer.
The gameplay footage looks immense and shows an extremely violent post apocalyptic world with absolutely no mercy. Graphically, it looks nothing short of fucking incredible and from what we’ve seen, the combat mechanics look varied and extremely cool. Suss it for yourself below.
Ghost of Tsushima
Jesus, from a graphical standpoint, PlayStation just can’t be beaten at the moment. This game looks unbelievable.
The gameplay looks really cool, too. Like a samurai John Wick. Have a look at the footage below, particularly the fight scene amongst the leaves. Holy fuck.
Control
Wow. So this was Remedy‘s new game. It looks certifiably insane and if that’s what we get instead of a new Max Payne I’ll fucking take it.
I would call it a third-person mindfuck featuring a badass female protagonist. Check it out below.

Resident Evil 2 Remake
Fuck yes! This isn’t just a remaster, folks, they’ve given this classic Capcom title a very good working over.
Releasing on Janruary 25, 2019, this remake will have fans of the series losing their minds, but also makes for a good entry point for newcomers.
Trover Saves the Universe
Welp, I love the Bathtub Guy who is very obviously voiced by Rick & Morty‘s Justin Roiland. I guess you could just think of this game as Rick & Morty the platformer, which looks equal parts fun and hilarious. See for yourself.

Death Stranding
Hmm, I’m not sure how I feel about seeing that creepy baby’s ass before anything else, but that’s what you get with Hideo Kojima games I suppose. On the bright side, we finally get to see some dang gameplay footage.
Well, kinda, I’m still not entirely sure what one does in the game or what exactly it’s about, but I fuck I wanna play it so bad. Please watch the footage below. It’s absolutely insane.
Spider-Man
I’ve definitely said this before, but as far as superhero games / movies go, I’m not a huge fan. That being said, I’m going to play the ever-loving shit out of this game.
While we saw some gameplay footage last year, we got to see even more today. Better yet, we got to see Spidey beat the fuck out of some prison scum, but then he gets owned by a whole team of villains. Neat.
