Mike Baird Literally Drives A DeLorean, Ascertains We Still Need Roads

ICYMI – and if you have, what kind of millennial ARE you? – it’s Back To The Future Day, a.k.a. Tuesday 21 October 2015, a.k.a. the day when Marty McFly travelled to the ~ future ~ in Back To The Future II and stole some kid’s hoverboard.

In celebration of this auspicious day, NSW Premier Mike Baird travelled to the future werk in an actual, freaking, DeLorean, and confirmed that, despite messages to the contrary, we do still kinda need roads tbh.

Great Scott!! Turns out we still need roads… Happy Back To The Future Day!

If you want to see the face of someone who knows he probably just secured the next election, it looks a little something like this:

“Yeah, that’s probably about done it.”

In even MORE glorious 80’s nostalgia froth-bait, Doc Brown has also posted a message from another, far schmicker-looking DeLorean. “The future has finally arrived!” he says. “Yes, it is different than we all thought.”
