Michelle Obama Says, “I Would Be Beyoncé” In An Alternate Life

Taking on the role of FLOTUS isn’t the easiest role the Presidency offers, but it certainly is one of the most respected, high-ranking occupations in the United States. Hillary Clinton. Claire Underwood. The role is destined for some of the nation’s greatest women.

Michelle Obama, nearing the end of her tenure as First Lady, as POTUS Barack Obama will vacate the White House next year, has carved new meaning for the role: she’s as much of a philanthropist as she is a beacon of joy in the public eye—raising awareness for the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, retiring tired White House rules and cutting sick on Ellen—she’s physically incapable of not killing it.

Proving she’s like us all and not missing a beat, however, Michelle Obama answered questions from rapper Wale in the White House, most notably: what career would she choose if she wasn’t FLOTUS?

“I would be Beyoncé.”

OF COURSE SHE WOULD.

You asked. The First Lady and @Wale answered. #ReachHigher
