Devastatingly gorgeous Aussie supermodel Megan Gale has stepped down after two decades of being the face and ambassador of David Jones.
Megan wastes no time in moving on, though. She announced a new deal yesterday, saying that she will be designing a homewares range for Target, instead.
Her departure comes only a few weeks after the company announced Jesinta Campbell would be coming onboard as ‘a part of the David Jones family’.
A spokesman for David Jones spoke about the devastating breakup that Australians thought would never, ever happen:
Megan Gale and David Jones jointly decided not to continue her contract as a David Jones Brand Ambassador… Megan will, however, continue to be an important part of the David Jones fashion family in her role as a designer. Her Isola by Megan Gale brand will continue to be stocked exclusively at David Jones.”
The model walked her first show for David Jones in 1995… Seeing as the woman doesn’t seem to age, who wants to put bets down that Megz will still be with Target in 2035?
