Ex-Triple J Legends Matt & Alex Reunited For A Radio Slot On The Weekend

Matt & Alex

Outta nowhere, former triple j lads Matt Okine and Alex Dyson reunited on air this past weekend to lend their talents to the Hit Network.

The pair appeared on the network’s The Sunday Experiment for a lil’ guest spot. The good news is that if you missed out on Sunday’s gig, you can catch them on the show this week. But the bad news is that this isn’t a permanent spot.

If you’re not so familiar with the show, The Sunday Experiment puts the spotlight on the country’s up and coming radio talent. It’s part of Australia’s y’uge entertainment company, Southern Cross Austereo, so the show’s a fab way for new talent to gain exposure and opportunities within SCA’s ginormous network. But for a bit of fun, the crew decided to invite Matt and Alex on air because why the hell not?

“We are really excited to have them doing a casual residency on the Hit Network for a few weeks,” SCA’s Head of Talent Development Adrian Brine told PEDESTRIAN.TV.

Note the “for a few weeks.”

You can catch The Sunday Experiment across the Hit Network 8:00PM-10:00PM on – you guessed it – Sunday.

In some other Matt-related news, the legend’s debut novel Being Black N Chicken N Chips is slated for release this September. The coming-of-age novel is based on Matt’s first-ever award-winning stand-up show of… kinda the same name, Being Black N Chicken N Shit.
