Accidentally walking into someone because you were staring unblinkingly at your mobile phone is the pits. Even though you tend to panic and want to apologise over and over, it’s usually best to just say a quick ‘sorry’, and get outta there to save the last of your dignity.
Or, move to Antwerp. They are have lanes now, reserved for text-walkers. No more bumping into people, or smashing your phone screen!

The lanes are a publicity stunt by Dutch smartphone company Mlabs, according to Yahoo UK. Creators say that while the lanes were installed just as a temporary marketing stunt, people have actually started to use them, and they now believe that the concept could easily catch on.
