In the aftermath of techno-creep wizardry required to create Siri you’d think Apple would need time in convalescence, but nothing – not even the untimely passing of the company’s creative linchpin – can put a dent in Apple’s blistering capacity for reinventing its own products. Word has it, the harder better faster stronger iPad 3 will hit stores as early as March or April 2012.
According to rumours, the seductive new function offered on the iPad 3 is high-resolution “Retina” display with double the pixels of the first two iPads, which anonymous blogger Apple Insider says would produce images with resolution high enough for doctors to use for medical imaging.
In a few years time there will probably be an iPad that can do this:
