Former INXS Guitarist Says He Misses The Days Of Consequence-Free Assault

This just in: Kirk Pengilly is a fuckwit.

The former INXS guitarist recently leapt to the defence of the widespread alleged sex pests currently experiencing a thing called ‘consequences’ with all the grace of a dying chihuahua.

“I really loved the ’60s and ’70s when life was so simple and you could slap a woman on the butt and it was taken as a compliment, not as sexual harassment,” he said, when asked about the claims against Don Burke and Harvey Weinstein at a Movember charity event in Melbourne last night.

OH FOR FUCK’S SAKE, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME.

He then dolled out the classic line, “it’s like you can’t even compliment a woman anymore!” (we’re paraphrasing here) while shaking his hands in disbelief, like what is the world coming to?

TBF, we don’t know the exact quote he said, because luckily we weren’t there, but here’s what the AP reported:

Pengilly, who was attending a Movember charity event in Melbourne on Thursday, said men were starting to feel they can’t even pay a woman a compliment because it could be seen as sexual harassment.

Casual reminder for every dude out there: slapping women on the butt without their consent is sexual assault, whether or not you not you face the consequences. And in 2017, dudes are facing consequences.

If you have any INXS records lying around…. burn those fuckers.
