Apes, apes, everywhere. The sequel to the James Franco viewing session Rise of the Planet of the Apes comes in the form of the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and now with the release day looming we get a look at the final trailer.
The film, the eighth in the Planet of the Apes franchise, and the second in this current thread of rebooting, comes out on July 9th in Australia.
Starring Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Aussie actors Jason Clarke and Kodi Smit-McPhee, and mo-cap extraordinaire Andy Serkis reprising his much heralded role as ape Cesar, Dawn takes place a decade after Rise, and focuses on an ever-growing war between ape and man.
It… it actually looks pretty damned badass.
