Feature Jobs: Flight Centre Travel Consultant, Leadership Graduate Program

We’ve teamed up with Flight Centre because y’all know that combining travel with work is the dream. Lucky for you, they’ve got a bunch of positions available rn. Check ’em below and find out more HERE.

Flight Centre is a household name. Chances are you’ve heard of it / seen it in every shopping centre you’ve ever visited in yo’ life, because the company has spread like wildfire since its inception in 1982, and with good reason. Aside from sorting everyone’s travel itineraries left, right and centre, the go-to retailer has also been a hot commodity on the job front thanks to its A+ job perks, training, support, and the opportunity to climb the ladder like it’s no one’s business. If the aforementioned sounds like your cup of tea when it comes to a new gig, check what they’ve got for y’all below.

Travel Consultant positions are currently available all around Australia (over 200 locations), which means you could soon be making other people’s travel dreams become a reality, as well as your own (discounted travel + an awesome career opp, anyone?). The sah-weet role will see you communicating directly with customers and suppliers across the world (incl. airlines, accommodation providers, insurance brokers and foreign currency providers) to get around their product offerings, pricing structures and booking processes, so that when the next holiday-goer walks through the door you’ll be able to give ’em the A+ holiday they’re after. Flick over your CV for NT HERE, NSW HERE or check the other Travel Consultant spots in QLD, SA, VIC, ACT, WA and TAS HERE.

Retail Leadership Graduate Program roles are also up for grabs in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Perth, and, let us tell you, it’s like no other on offer to uni grads. It’s not a traditional rotational program where you work your way through the business – you actually are given the skills to be able to run one of Flight Centre’s multi-million dollar retail stores (think of it as a fast track leadership program) over the course of 14 months. It’s two months training followed by 12 months practical, in store. They’re essentially looking for people who have recently graduated (within the last three years) with a Bachelor degree or higher and have a passion for travel / the world (um, all’a us). If you’ve been in a supervisor role that’ll work to your advantage, as well as having travelled to two+ continents. It’s performance-based and an uncapped working sitch with a base + commission structure, which is perfect for driven, competitive individuals. Apply for Melbourne HERE, Hobart HERE, Brisbane HERE and Sydney HERE.
