A warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Instagram star Ethan Bramble, otherwise known as “Modboy”, and the Melbourne father has spent Wednesday taunting police on social media.
Victoria’s Eyewatch Police Service asked for assistance locating Bramble on Wednesday afternoon, describing him as Caucasian with a thin build and “tattoos to 98% of his body.” Which does indeed check out:
“His eyes have been tattooed black and gauges approximately 10cm in diameter in both earlobes,” says the post.
Thousands of people have commented on the post having recognised Bramble from social media and, more recently, television. The body modification enthusiast appeared on breakfast TV only a few weeks ago, showing off his split tongue and stretched ears.
On Instagram, Bramble has over 200,000 followers, and has been called the world “most modified youth”, which seems hard to objectively prove. But you would guess he’s a pretty strong contender.
Thousands of people have commented on the Facebook post announcing Bramble’s warrant, including what appears to be Bramble himself, who wrote “I’ve never once seen him in my life,” and later uploaded a video of himself to his own Facebook listening to NWA’s “Fuck Tha Police.”
In a closed Facebook group where Bramble has developed a cult following, ‘Blokes and their ice-creams‘, the young Melbournite appeared to write a message to his followers: “nananana you’ll never catch me. Cream on brothers. P.S if I go down I’m taking all of you biccie first biters down with me.”
