A 33-year-old woman was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm and using poison so as to endanger life. She was released on police bail and will appear in court today.
The customer is reportedly still in hospital as of Thursday morning. At least four staff members of The Medi Beauty were questioned by police on Wednesday afternoon.
It is currently unknown what procedure was performed on the customer which led to the charges. The Medi Beauty clinic, located in the Central Park development, advertises that it is a “laser and contour clinic” specialising in non-surgical facelifts, skin tightening, fat freezing and anti-wrinkle injections.
