Brisbane Plumber Finds Human Remains In School’s Underground Septic Tank

This is a bad one, folks. A plumber has found human remains in a Brisbane special education facility’s underground water tank.
The decomposing bones and clothes belonging to what appears to be a deceased male were found at Autism Queensland’s centre in Brighton this morning.
After the police were called in around 11am this morning after the discovery, attempts are currently being made to recover DNA and homicide detectives are already looking through cold cases from the area.
The age of the decomposed body – found in a old tank at the back of an admin building of all places – has not been made clear, but appears to have been in place for “a number of years” according to acting superintendent Mick Dowie:
“There are some suspicious aspects to the deceased at this stage and we’ll have to conduct further inquires to see what we can establish in relation to that, bearing in mind the time delay.”

The uh moral being, always check your tanks, kids?
