After much speculation following the reveal of the most beautiful, blessed, beatific future rulers of mankind, Beyoncé‘s mum Tina Knowles has confirmed: the Carter-Knowles twins are a boy and a girl.
In an Instagram re-post of Beyoncé’s first photo with the twins, Knowles wrote:
“So Happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world. Proud grandma hello Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. Boy and girl what a blessing.”
Indeed it is a blessing, as is the little bit of elucidation regarding names. We know now that at least Grandma Knowles is referring to the twins as Rumi Carter and Sir Carter, which would suggest that Beyoncé’s son’s name really is just Sir.
Sir.
Look, they’re the closest we’re ever going to come to a global royal family. She can call her kids whatever she damn wants.
