Alison Wonderland Has Announced A Gamechanging Festival Tour Detail

Now here’s a neato little initiative we hope will pick up a bit of steam in the future. Alison Wonderland‘s upcoming tour/mini-festival the WonderlandScarehouseProjecwill be one of the first festies in Australia to ditch single-use bottles and cups.

That’s both paper and plastic, too. Supported by Red Bull, the initiative will mandate that only reusable cups will be used at the WonderlandScarehouseProject events in SydneyMelbourneBrisbane and Auckland.

Wonderland spoke to PEDESTRIAN.TV about the initiative. “This is an issue close to my heart,” she said. “We waste so much plastic at gigs and festivals so its important do try and help the environment and use reusables.”

“The WonderlandScarehouseProject shows are something that I am super passionate about and I want the whole day to reflect what I stand for,”

“Hopefully it encourages other bigger festivals to do the same.”

Nice! This is something people have been demanding for a long time, so it’s good to see big local artists getting in on it.
