Malik is currently ensconced in every heart of 1D fans the world over but, according to reports, is looking to move on to what he was first trained in; the Sacred Art of Acting.
The director responsible for the 2002 absolute classic Bend It Like Beckam, Gurinder Chadha – who is currently working on Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical – recently spoke to press at the ethnically ambiguous Asian Awards.
She said of their alleged interactions: “We’ve met and spoken. He trained as an actor first then became part of the band. So, I think what he’ll be doing is staying true to his heart – and that’s all you can ever do. I don’t have a part in mind for Zayn just yet but hopefully in the future.”
