The democratization of the interwebs meets Sydney’s most iconic music venue as the YouTube Symphony Orchestra sets its sights on the Sydney Opera House for the next installment of its audition only concert series. After the audition phase, selected musicians will be invited to a week of rehearsals and master classes at an orchestra summit in March, culminating in a live performance conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas at The Sydney Opera House on March 20, 2011.
