Ruel, Baker Boy, Skegss & More Headed To Wollongong For Yours & Owls All-Ages Fest

The Yours & Owls team is known for its bullshit-good festival lineups, and the 2019 iteration of the fully all-ages fezzy put on by the gang is absolutely no exception. It features a couple of names from the bigger sibling festival at the end of October, but the all-ages part is set to be a red-hot one this year.

With a lineup that’ll very likely pack out the Wollongong University Hall in no time, the all-ages Yours & Owls fest is bringing some of the country’s best acts to the coal coast.

For the 2019 edition of the totally age-inclusive festival, the Uni hall is copping the likes of Angie McMahonBaker BoyEves Karydas, Kwame, Ruel, and Skegss, which is a hell of a sesh.

Yep, my 14-year-old self would be totally losing her mind if something like this existed in 2005.

Joining these heavy-hitters of the newest wave of the Aussie music industry are local acts FloodwayFriday Park, and Kim’s Laundry, giving a couple of young groms a big leg up in the local scene, which is extremely cool as hell.

It’s all happening on one stage as well, so there’s absolutely no way you’ll get two of your dream live acts having a set clash, and you also don’t have to leg it from one side of the festival to the other in two minutes to make it to the next set on your perfectly-curated timetable.

If you’re over 18 and stinging for a cheeky beer, there will be a separate space for which to have a precious bevington in. The band room will be entirely drug and alcohol-free, so it depends if you’re ready to give up some precious band time to go and have a drink.

The 2019 Yours & Owls Festival goes down from 12pm on October 5, and you can cop tickets from the moshtix site from 8am Friday July 5. But if you sign up for the sneaky presale happening 8am Thursday July 4, you’ll also go in the draw to win some sweet prizes too.
