WHOMADEWHO’s 2009 long player; The Plot, has easily been one of my most listened to records this year, can’t get enough. iTunes on my work computer alone has already clocked 64 listens for “Keep Me In My Plane” eclipsing the runner-up “Raveo” by nearly double.
But…
It was always going to get a smashing especially considering there’s a lot of “inspiration” aka uncanny similarities between one of my old faves “Fly Like An Eagle” by Steve Miller Band and WMW’s alternative rendition. And that’s not even taking into account the obvious reference to aeronautic travel in the name and lyrics.
