WATCH: This Whipcracked Flume Remix Goes Absolutely Hell For Leather

The fact Veronica & Lewis just got the world’s fastest whipcracker to deliver a “remix” of Flume’s track Never Be Like You is almost a relief – the level of pure Australiana on display here is so profound, it almost removes the need for any of us to try. Ever.

Nathan ‘Whippy’ Griggs – who else, really – was tasked with contorting his custom-made whips around the Flume’s smooth newie this very arvo, and the result… well, against all logic, it’s almost bloody hypnotic.

Have a gander, you’ll quickly accept that the disparate worlds of rural goodness and the realm of primo Aussie tunage are indeed one and the same.

Earlier, Griggs told the duo he was just about to make the world’s longest whip; an incredulous Lewis asked “how the hell do you crack a 71-metre long whip?”
The answer, of course, was as nonchalant as you’d expect from someone who uses millennia-old farming equipment to reinterpret modern electronic music.

“I don’t know, I haven’t done it before,” he said. “If I pull it off, and if I can actually make it and crack it, it’s gonna be pretty speccy.”

Bra-fucking-vo, Whippy. Peep the whole chat below.
