Tyler, The Creator is pretty much famous for being a pain in conservative America’s ass, but last night the law got one better of him when he was arrested in Hollywood during a show at The Roxy.
The famous club on Sunset Boulevard now boasts a broken soundboard as a result of the OFWGKTA frontman’s flip-out o stage. Thanks to the power of the iPhone, there’s some great footage of the teenager assaulting some poor sound guy and throwing shit about before exiting the stage to the infamous ‘Wolf Gang’, cry.
Tyler’s posse, expected in Australia soon for Big Day Out, have already had themselves banned from shows in New Zealand after a successful protest against their lyrical content was carried out by a gay activist. Because he’s a teenager, Tyler had to go to the station accompanied by his Mum. Cute. For something not cute, check the footage:
Australia doesn’t react kindly to rappers who have criminal records. On the plus side, Tyler hasn’t killed anyone, but hey, it could only be a matter of time…
