TV On The Radio – New Album

Fans of Brooklyn five-piece TV On The Radio won’t have long to wait for another dose of their genre bending, avant-garde Rock and Roll.

Following on from the success of their widely acclaimed “Return To Cookie Mountain” (The sophomore slump resoundingly sidestepped after their stellar debut “Desperate Youth and Bloodthirsty Babes”) the band are set to release a new album entitled “Dear Science,” on September 23 through Interscope. Outside of America the album will be released September 22 through 4AD. There isn’t much information so I can only guess that “Dear Science,” will be a concept album/musical ode to how much the guys love technology?

Bass player and noise-smith Dave Sitek has kept busy in the interim by lending his production skills to acts as diverse as Massive Attack, Foals and Scarlett Johansson. Hopefully we can expect some high profile or just plain weird cameos on “Dear Science,” (David fucking Bowie even made an appearance on the exuberant “Province” off their last album).
