When he’s not dropping electronic solo albums, DJing at dubstep parties or collaborating with Burial and Four Tet, Thom sometimes fronts this band you might have heard of called Radiohead. Of course, that hasn’t stopped him teaming up with every producer worth his salt, which brings us to his two guest spots on Berlin heavyweights Modeselektor’s latest LP, Monkeytown.
Like Yorke, the Modeselektor lads don’t like to be pigeonholed. They once famously described their sound in an interview as “Happy metal, hard rap, country-ambient, Russian crunk.” See which of those you can pick in the two cuts below, and listen quick, because they literally leaked an hour ago.
