Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich Give Insightful Love, Sex, and Body Image Advice to Teen Girls

The release of Atoms For Peace’s AMOK has seen Thom Yorke break from his usual post-release routine, first with an entertaining and free-wheeling interview with Alec Baldwin, and now teaming up with long-time Radiohead producer and Atoms For Peace bandmate Nigel Godrich, to dish out love, sex, and body imaged advice to teen girls for Rookie magazine.

Following in the wise advice dishing shoes of Jimmy Fallon, Jon Hamm, Ira Glass, and Judd Apatow, Yorke and Goldrich encourage the perennially shy girl to be persistent and follow their crush around like a nutter, suggest readers indulge in hard liquor as a means to cope with crippling self-consciousness (before Yorke is reminded that the letter in question was penned by a 15-year-old), and clarifying that “horses are randy, ladies are interested.” Sound, sensitive, and seriously amusing advice.
