“The Other Two Bitches Didn’t Want To Do It”: Mel B On The Spice Girls Reunion

’90s pop institution The Spice Girls are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, and in related news, you may or may not have just experienced a keen sense of your own fleeting mortality.
During a recent appearance on The Late Late Show, founding member Mel ‘Scary’ Brown confirmed to host James Corden that the group will be reuniting for some anniversary shows, but will be two members lighter

A few months back, three of the five original Spice Girls – Brown, Emma ‘Baby’ Bunton and Geri ‘Ginger’ Halliwell – released a video hinting that a reunion of some sorts was on the cards.
Brown confirmed on Thursday night that the shows will indeed be happening, with Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham and Melanie ‘Sporty’ Chisholm sitting them out. Why, you ask?
“The other two bitches didn’t want to do it!” Brown told Corden, before correcting herself, and adding with a laugh that was ~totally~ not forced: “My other two fellow lovely ladies.”
She went on to explain that the others were just too busy to make it. “You know Victoria is busy with her great fashion line and Mel C is doing her own album, so they gracefully said, ‘You three go ahead and do it.’”
There are no confirmed dates yet, but Brown said that the reunion shows will likely kick off in London.
