We’re not even kidding. Taking over CarriageWorks for a whole three weeks, Platform is a celebration of hip-hop as it was always intended to be be; real, raw and uncut. This year’s festival has some serious heavyweights, most notably The Magnificents, who comprise of the best turntablist (JS-1), freestyler (Supernatural) and beatboxer (Rahzel) on the planet. The potential here is bigger than Jesus. With support from local fiends Koolism, there’s no reason not to be there. Unless you’re into punk or something.
