If you’re a bit miffed that you can’t to Sydney for the first-ever Sydney City Limits next February then do not stress my good friend, because sideshows for some of the biggest acts on the bill have just dropped this morning.

The LibertinesCar Seat HeadrestThe Head & The Heart and more have announced a slew of shows in Melbourne and Brisbane  around the fezzy.

Car Seat Headrest return to our shores after making their first Aussie appearance at Laneway Fest earlier this year, and tbh they’re a bit of a perfect summer band that really makes you think about your existence.

Playing a rare show on home soil, The Avalanches are playing a one-off in Brisbane, laying down their iconic vinyl layering to the Tivoli.

It’s also the first time that The Libertines have come to Australia, bringing with them two of the more notorious fellas in the indie/brit-pop scene with them – Pete Doherty and Carl Barât.

Without further ado, here’s where you can catch some of the massive names from the first pilgrimage of the iconic Austin City Limits in a smaller, non-festival setting.

Wed 28 Feb – Forum, Melbourne
Thu 01 Mar – Tivoli, Brisbane

Wed 07 Mar – Tivoli, Brisbane
