Every Most good bands have at least one good dancer – you know, Bez with his maracas and Ian with his seizure style moves. So it comes as no surprise that the singer of The Drums can boogie on down, as they say. The new film clip, for their single Best Friend, is a refreshingly stripped down affair that showcases singer Jonathan Pierce’s dance floor abilities and the band’s impeccable dress sense.
The band, who hail from the music mecca that is Brooklyn, have been hailed as “NYC’s coolest band” and are favourites of trend-setting guru Hedi Slimane. Perhaps next time you’re trying to impress a guy/girl you should just casually slip them into conversation, or go one better and bust out some of Pierce’s signature moves.
