On this beautiful Saturday morning (April 13), a countdown clock suddenly appeared on Taylor Swift‘s website because not enough is happening this month. At the same time, Swift’s social media channels – her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram – changed their themes to a rainbow pastel aesthetic. If you’ve been keeping an eye on the artist, you’ll recognise the theme from Swift’s recent Instagram posts.
Her bios now read “4.26” – April, 26.
13 DAYS.
Pulling completely away from her ‘Reputation’ era, Swift has spent the past couple of weeks gifting fans a heap of photos reminiscent of vintage Tay.
The singer has made a handful of references to butterflies so maybe that’ll mean something in this new… project.
Back in February, fans first theorised Swift was using a numbers-based code to countdown to her seventh studio album. The theories were so wild but the big reveal turned out to be a cover story with Elle US & UK.
This time however, fans are absolutely sure new music is on the way and are already losing their minds over all the possibilities.
The color theme. The countdown. The happiness. The EXCITEMENT, I feel it all!!! Let’s make it through these next 13 days strong. ???? #TaylorSwiftApril26 @taylornation13 @taylorswift13

While accepting the Tour of the Year award at the 2019 iHeart Music Awards, Swift addressed the speculation about new music, telling fans: “I love your passion, I love your attention to detail, I love how much you care. I love seeing all the things that you’re voicing online, and I just wanted to let you know that when there’s new music, you will be the first to know.”
