The Synth Lords Behind The ‘Stranger Things’ OST Are Now Playing Laneway

Last week we teased that Laneway Festival were going to drop a big announcement at the Stranger Things season two premiere at the Sydney Opera House, and now they’ve come through with the goods.

This arvo, the brains behind Laneway announced that Austin synth four-piece S U R V I V E will be joining the lineup, bringing their creepy 80s retro-grooves to stages across the country. They’re behind the now-iconic Stranger Things soundtrack which everyone frothed on when it dropped.

They’re not just known for soundtracks, though – they dropped their sophomore album RR7349 which is full of the kind of analog synth stuff you’ll no doubt love if you enjoyed Stranger Things.
