Stereosonic Still Trying To Regulate Shirtlessness

Two years ago, Stereosonic introduced a “Tops On” policy which decreed that all shirtless men be ejected from the festival. Presumably for crimes against humanity. Sadly, the policy was poorly enforced with punters left free to douse others in bodily fluids, rub up on people and showcase their enviable physiques with little to no consequence. The good news? Things will be totally different this year! Speaking with In The Mix, Stereosonic’s John Curtin reiterated their commitment to the policy, saying it would be enforced with far more resolve this time round: “Basically, our stance remains the same on this and we will be enforcing it. We are committed to providing a safe event.”

The Stereosonic website reads: “Anyone not wearing tops (singlet, t-shirt etc) will be rejected at the gate. Anyone inside the event not wearing a top will have their wristband removed and will be ejected from the event.”

While there’s no correlation between shirtlessness and violence, anecdotal evidence suggests a healthy link between shirtlessness, creatine intake, terrible tattoos and the likelihood of hitting on your girlfriend. We endorse this wholeheartedly. Someone get Warren G on the case.
