If you’re into funk (Lyrics Born), Aussie hip hop (Illy, The Herd) and general purpose party acts (Scissor Sisters, Spank Rock, French Horn Rebellion) then Pyramid Rock might be the gig you’ve been looking for. The lineup features an interesting mix of international acts and local favourites (including blast-from-the-past Spiderbait), with surprisingly few “rock” acts. The festival takes place at Phillip Island in Victoria from Thursday 29 Dec 2011 – Sunday 1 January 2012.
