Rihanna for Gucci

After giving a rousing performance at their UNICEF fundraiser for New York Fashion Week, 20 year old pop singer Rihanna will become the new face of Gucci’s print campaign for UNICEF…

Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini, said of the Barbados born superstar: “When we decided to dedicate a full ad campaign, more than just creating products, to really come out and show our commitment to UNICEF, I felt a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign.”

Entitled “Tattoo Heart’ the campaign will be out in December and feature Rihanna in limited edition Gucci apparel, the sale of which will go towards charity (25 percent to be exact). The charity represented, The Believe Foundation, said of the collaboration: “It’s an honour to represent Gucci.”
