To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s lunar landing EMI will re-release David Bowie’s Space Oddity as a four track EP containing four different mixes of the song.
Tenuous connections we know but as well as the singles Space Oddity’s eight original master tracks or stems will also be made available with each purchase so listeners can remix Mr. Stardust to their heart’s content. Users will be able to remix the track via their own music programs or purchase the stems as an application through iPhone remix software iKlax.
