Parklife Has The World’s Most Expensive Festival Ticket

It’s good to see Parklife organisers are willing to take the piss out of the fact that music festival ticket prices nowadays are a joke. They have released the world’s “Most Ridiculously Expensive” one-day festival ticket – going at a whopping AU$7,000. It’s all in the name of a very hood good cause: the ticket will go towards raising money for Heaps Decent – an initiative committed to nurturing the creativity of underprivileged and Indigenous young people and emerging artists.

Perks of the ticket includes a slip-and-slide entry, personal drinks caddie, artist cabin and portable VIP area, the Ridiculously Expensive Ticket’s package was voted by Parklife’s 50,000 strong Facebook group via a daily poll and battled it out against other ridiculous ticket options, such as sedan chair Egyptian-style transportation around the festival, an iPad VVVVIP lanyard, a personal publicist and a personal stylist.
