Hate ’em, love ’em or even if you’re more of a 5SOS sort of dude, there’s no denying the white-hot star power of everyone’s favourite Brit boy band of the decade, Westlife One Direction.
Hot off the heels of announcing that they will indeed be writing a fifth album (people still make those?), the lads dropped by Jimmy Fallon‘s studio to record a very cute version of ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ with his house band, The Roots. This performance is a little different, as it is comprised almost entirely of classroom percussion instruments. Whether this speaks to the level of 1D’s musical prowess is up for debate, but at least ?uestlove is covering their harmonies for them.
Fallon kindly provided an instrument list, too, so now you can beat all your friends in pub trivia next year by telling them it was Zayn with the triangle, not Niall.
