Earlier this year we described Canvas Kites the brand spanking new three piece fronted by former Mercy Arms vocalist/guitarist Thom Moore as “a croony guitar-driven three-piece that explore the twee pop leanings Moore only hinted at in Mercy Arms. Punchy, lean and sunny as a Summer’s day in London circa ’86.” After watching the new video for their first single “Wayside” we stand behind that sentiment even more.
