Although her pal Madonna didn’t quite make it to Australia this year, Sri-Lankin born rapper M.I.A has just been announced as the very first act on the 2013 Summafieldayze and Summadayze festival bills.
The Future Music organised festivals take place on the Gold Coast as well as in Melbourne and Perth in early January. There’s no news on a Sydney date as yet, but with Field Day happening around the same time here’s hoping that M.I.A might make an appearance.
Welcoming 2013 with this classic jam can only mean it’s going to be a killer year.
