Whoa, new jam from Sydney via Perth dudes Canyons is suspiciously in synch with what feels like the first real day of Spring. Ie. it’s actually short and shirt weather here Down Under. Probably accidental considering the logistics that go into releasing a single but totally appropriate none the less. The track, “My Rescue”, represents the first taste from their forthcoming debut album and it’s all sorts of radiant bliss, bursting percussion, laidback grooves and other Springtime signifiers. For those seeking a serendipitously timed reminder that flowers are in bloom and walking around the house nude is one of life’s greatest pleasures, I implore you to listen.
