When we first asked Girl Talk aka Greg Gillis to recap his top ten albums of 2010 he replied with the following: “the kanye, nicki minaj, and young jeezy records all come out this month, can we hold off til i hear them?“. But of course sir, ’tis the only sensible thing to do. And though none of the aforementioned LPs factor into Gillis’ eventual top ten, it speaks volumes about the sheer amount of forward thinking hip hop and delirious party jams that were released this year.
