The clip features a bevy of camera wielding beauties who’ve misplaced their pants in wardrobe, wind machines, glitter, and projectile paint – the prerequisites for a good old fashioned warehouse party. The song itself is archetypal Franz Ferdinand – a heady mix of jangly guitars anchored by a surging rhythm section and Alex Kapranos’ liberal use of the words “boy” and “girl”. Yes it’s formulaic but the Scottish four-piece show no signs of slowing, or aging an iota.
