Adele is freaking back, you guys. Her video clip for ‘Hello‘ – her first single in four years, which dropped last Friday – smashed Vevo records for the most views in 24 hours, racking up a whopping 27.7 million of them.
It pipped Taylor Swift‘s ‘Bad Blood‘ for the number one spot, which garnered a now-paltry seeming 20.1 million views in the first 24 hours it launched.
“My last record was a break-up record, and if I had to label this one, I’d call it a make-up record,” Adele said in a Facebook post.“I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”
