Ya girl Tash Sultana just did a heavenly + super extended cover of MGMT‘s ‘Electric Feel‘ for Triple J‘s ‘Like A Version‘, and she did it barefoot. If you’re not at least a little bit in love with her already you will be after watching this.
In fairness, this cover isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. A few comments (among the thousands) on Facebook are frustrated by the unenunciated lyrics, but in this writer’s opinion at least, the guitar intro alone makes it.
It comes off the back of Tash Sultana’s #3 in the Hottest 100 for ‘Jungle‘ and a stella run on the Laneway tour, so let’s be real – we’ll all be waiting with extreme baited breathes for whatever she does next.
