3 Legendary Acts Just Dropped Aussie Tour Dates That’ll Make Punk Kids Weep

Hold onto your wallets, music fans, because they’re about to piss cash.
Three massive tours have been announced this week and if you’re even a little bit into the punk side of tunes, you absolutely must attend.
First up, the legendary At the Drive In will be returning to Australia in September/October on the back of their new album, in • ter a • li • a, which will be released on May 5.
The blokes played Splendour in the Grass last year and all reports indicate that they’re in fine form on the live front, but whether their new album will live up to 2000’s incredible Relationship of Command is another question altogether.
Having announced their break up last year, hardcore spazzy boys The Dillinger Escape Plan will be visiting our shores for the final time to say goodbye in October.
Known for their incredibly energetic live shows, these fellas will climb just about anything in sight.
To give you an idea of how wild their shows can be, here’s some footage from 2012’s Soundwave festival in Perth where Greg Puciato feeds a trestle table to the crowd and rides it.
Lastly, post-punk duo Japandroids are heading our way in July. All tickets available on Friday April 21. Buy me beers at each Sydney show, pls. Do a mosh.
