Trawling through Mecca‘s epic range of beauty loot is the equivalent of meditation for any makeup junkie. Who hasn’t roamed their perfectly-lit aisles, swatching bronzers and highlighters on their hand while feeling a wave of ultimate calm wash over them. Oh, you haven’t? Best get on that – it’s quite the feeling.

Until now, Mecca had a relatively small (yet deeply loved) beauty range of their own, consisting mainly of skincare – like their very popular sunscreens. As of August 1st though, the Aussie beauty brand will be dropping a whopper of a makeup range, and we are absolutely here for it.
There’ll be 206 products on offer in the MECCA MAX range, from foundations, to eyeshadow duos, to every makeup brush you could ever in your life want. And to make the news even more appealing, the price points – they’re good. They’re REAL good.
Products start from $5 for their makeup wipes, to $45 for the lush Eyephoria palette. Considering a pharmacy-stocked foundation will set you back around $30 these days, these are pretty competitive prices.
Some of the beauties we’ll be stocking up on? This steal of a silicone makeup applicator ($15), which is Mecca’s take on the wildly viral Molly Cosmetics Silisponge from last year.
One of the $18 Shimmer Shot‘s, glittery top coats for your lipstick.
This banana powder – perfect for adding on top of under-eye concealer for a brightening effect. It’s $24.
And this $30 Power Tool Face Shaper for contouring that could cut glass.
The collection will be available on the Mecca site, and in Mecca Maxima stores on August 1st – but if you just can’t wait, Mecca Maxima have been dropping little hints at the collection on their Instagram, including some beaut campaign shots of models wearing the makeup products.
Plus, at least we’ve got half a month to save up for the whole range, right?
Got a bit of a makeup artistry side hustle goin’ on? If you win our current comp c/o Set for Life, you’ll score $5k to kickstart it, plus a luxe weekender in Sydney and lunch with beauty powerhouse Eleanor Pendleton of Gritty Pretty.
