Zach Braff Has a Lot of Feelings in the new ‘Wish I Was Here’ Trailer

The trailer for Zach Braff‘s ‘Wish I Was Here’, the Kickstarter-funded follow up to indie mope-fest Garden State, has arrived. Braff, as always, has an awful lot of feelings to share with you:

Here’s what we know about the film for now:
1. It’s about a sad, morose man learning to embrace life with the help of indie rock and mother nature, so it’s definitely a Zach Braff joint.
2. The story has something to do with the Braff character’s world falling apart. His dad and daughter are sick, his brother’s a stoner, and he’s dating Kate Hudson, a terrible trial that we would wish on nobody.
3. Dr. Turk from Scrubs is in it! We fuckin’ love that guy! Also, is that Stanley from The Office?

4. Jim Parsons of Big Bang Theory, who was also in Garden State, is back, possibly playing an Eyes Wide Shut fop of some sort. Mandy Patinkin also stops by to class the joint up a bit.

5. Somebody punches Zach Braff in the face, which, to be honest, is something we’ve all kinda wanted to do at some point.

The film premieres July 18 in the United States. Watch this space for news about the international release date.
