Some tales are too holy and pure to be spoken, but this is not one of them.

It’s close, though – famous actor and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio had his meat salted by Salt Bae himself, and the sudden collision of the internet’s two favourite passions (celebrity and memes) should probably be studied by scientists at CERN.

This happened. This is a thing that happened. Or, more specifically, it is a thing that happened next to Leo, because Leo is a long-time vegetarian who funded the anti-agriculture documentary ‘Cowspiracy‘.

Salt Bae himself – a.k.a. Turkish restauranteur Nusret Gökçe – posted the image to Instagram with the caption: “2017 Oscar winner said #saltbae.” (Sure, mate.)

It was tagged at his Dubai restaurant, so there’s a fair-to-middling chance that DiCaprio simply met friends at the local steakhouse, rather than specifically flying to Salt Bae HQ for a salt/meat experience he won’t even eat.

Dude is high as fuck, though.

Or just not that impressed by the meat / arm hair salt situation.

And is that salt in the wine glass???
